Installing HCF Generic Modem on Win2K A. Extract generic modem driver: 1. After downloaded the HCF generic driver for Win 2000, extract the driver by double click on the Win2k.exe file. B. Upgrading your current modem driver: 1. Double click on the Setup.exe file inside "c:\HCF Modem". If the "Add new hardware wizard" asks for the location of the driver, follow the steps below. 2. Select Yes when a "Digital Signature Not Found" window appears. 3. Click Next. 2. Select "Display a list of the known drivers for this device so that I can choose a specific driver" and click Next. 3. Click on Have Disk. 4. Type "C:\HCF Modem" and Click OK. 5. Make sure the device name is called "Generic - HCF PCI Modem" and click Next. 6. Select Yes on the "Update Driver Warning" and click Next. 7. Select Yes when a "Digital Signature Not Found" window appears. 8. Click Finish when the installation is completed.
